Genichi couldn't argue with a kid who liked his food too much, though.

"You really like it, huh?"

He nodded eagerly, tearing up. "Earth has the most wonderful food I've ever eaten!"

Genichi rolled his eyes.

"So, what's your home planet like then?" he prodded.

"Who cares when food like this exists in the universe?" he asked dreamily, stuffing his cheeks. "Why would you ever wanted to leave?"

Genichi chuckled.

"Well, it's true, my food is the best around."

"I can believe it, Mister Genichi," he said, batting his eyelashes. "Earth would be a remarkable planet if everyone was as kind and talented a chef as you. On my home planet, you would surely be the most eligible of bachelors--unless, there's a mate involved?" He twirled a lock of his blue hair around his finger.

"A...mate?" Genichi snorted and then guffawed. "With my ugly mug? No, nope, there's no lady in my life, kiddo. Plan to keep it that way, too."

"But don't males enjoy your heavenly visage?" he inquired, raising a brow.

Genichi wrinkled his nose at the question, although it was less about the men liking him part and more about the heavenly visage part.

"Dunno," he replied honestly. "Never really noticed either way."

He smiled dreamily. "Well, I can assure you--your looks match the food's taste."

Genichi scoffed.

"As if! Does my food really taste that bad, huh?" he demanded.

He shook his head vehemently, his face turning red. "No, no!! It is very delicious and you are very handsome, is what I meant--I'm so sorry, I am new to Japanese."

Genichi shook his head.

"You're a weird kid, you know that?" he shrugged. "So...interested in dessert?" He grinned down at him.

He nodded eagerly.

"What do you recommend?" he asked, gazing up at him with admiration.
