Angel knocked on the door to Cash's house, something he had a multitude of times but it felt different today for some reason. He couldn't really figure out why, though. Cash seemed more excited than normal for him to be coming over (if that was even possible). Something was swimming in the back of his mind, but he couldn't grasp it. Something about today that Cash had mentioned he was excited for, but that Angel hadn't really been paying attention to (Cash sometimes got chatty after sex, and honestly, Angel wasn't in as good of shape so he often got exhausted afterwards and dozed off but he couldn't admit that to Cash).

Angel adjusted the strap on his shoulder, thinking about what he had brought over from his house. They went back and forth, but mostly Angel went forth to Cash's house because his bed was bigger and his door locked. But when Angel's parents had date nights, so did they at his house. He had also brought his schoolbooks as an effort to actually study, but that never seemed to happen.

He knocked again, wondering if he hadn't been loud enough the first time.

The door swung open to reveal not Cash, but a short woman with a thick frame.

"Oh, you must be Cash's friend, yes? Hurry up, come in, come in!" She pulled Angel inside, her grip far stronger than it looked. "CASH! Your friend's here! Get off your butt and come be polite!"

Cash burst into the entry hall, his head almost catching on streamers and various other decorations.

"Hey, Angel! You made it!" He moved forward to wrap his arm around him, and then paused. Instead, under his mother's watchful eye, he opted to extend a fist. "...Cool you could come over for Superbowl, bruh."

More awkwardly than he should have, Angel fist bumped him, still dazed about what was happening. At least now he realized what he had been forgetting about.

"Uh, yeah, it's...my first superbowl party," He said, looking at Cash as if desperate for any reason he had to suddenly go home. But nothing came to mind, so instead he just looked pitifully at his friend.
